Best Time to Visit Dubai: Month Guide and Trips from ₹44,999

The best time to visit Dubai from India is November to March, when the average daytime high at Dubai International Airport is 24°C to 31°C, and our Dubai trips start from ₹44,999 per person for 4 days with return flights from Ahmedabad (prices checked 16 Oct 2026). June to September is the hottest stretch, with average highs of 39°C to 41.5°C, so a summer trip works only if the days are planned indoors and in the evening.

Our 4- and 5-day Dubai trips include return flights from Ahmedabad, a 4-star hotel on twin sharing with daily breakfast, transfers, the listed experiences and the UAE visa, which we handle for you. GST and TCS are shown in your written quote.

Prices checked 16 Oct 2026 from our live trip pages. Temperatures from the UAE National Center of Meteorology climate means for Dubai International Airport, 1974 to 2025, checked October 2026.

When is the best time to visit Dubai from India?

November to March. These five months have the mildest weather of the year, and the big winter events, the Dubai Shopping Festival and New Year's Eve, fall inside them. December and January are the coolest months, with average lows of 16.8°C and 14.8°C, so evenings in the desert and on the Creek can feel cold. Pack a light jacket or shawl for parents and children.

October and April are the shoulder months, with average highs of 35.8°C and 33.4°C. They work if you keep outdoor sightseeing for the morning and the evening and spend the afternoon indoors. May to September is the hot season, and the nights stay warm too: the average low in July and August is above 30°C.

We do not promise a cheaper month, because the price depends on flights and hotels for your dates. If your dates can move, ask us to price two options side by side.

How hot is Dubai each month?

These are the long-term averages that the UAE National Center of Meteorology (ncm.gov.ae) publishes for its Dubai International Airport station, covering 1974 to 2025, checked October 2026.

Which months suit elderly parents and small children?

For parents in their 60s and 70s, and for children under 10, aim for mid-November to February, when average highs of 24°C to 31°C let you stay out most of the day. Our notes on each outing:

  • Burj Khalifa: At The Top is the easiest outing for parents. A lift takes you to levels 124 and 125, and the decks need only gentle, level walking. The Dubai Fountain show below is free to watch from the promenade.
  • The evening desert safari includes a bumpy dune drive and walking on loose sand at the camp, so it suits parents with reasonable mobility. For very young children, ask us for a gentler drive. Vegetarian and Jain dinners at the camp are available if you ask in advance.
  • Dubai Family Funfest includes a full day at Atlantis Aquaventure. The bigger slides have their own height rules, checked at each ride rather than at booking.
  • Dubai Shopping Festival Week means long stretches on foot inside very large malls. The aquarium and the cafés give natural rest breaks, and the malls are wheelchair-friendly.

For more on ages and pace, see our things to do in Dubai page and the Dubai guide.

What happens in Dubai between December and March?

These are the dates we could confirm for this season:

  • Dubai Shopping Festival: 4 Dec 2026 to 17 Jan 2027, as listed on Visit Dubai (visitdubai.com, checked October 2026). Our Dubai Shopping Festival Week is timed for it, from ₹44,999 per person for 4 days.
  • New Year's Eve: our Dubai New Year 2027 guide covers the night in detail.
  • Republic Day long weekend: Republic Day falls on Tuesday 26 Jan 2027 (DoPT holiday list, checked October 2026). One day of leave on Monday 25 Jan gives you Saturday to Tuesday, and January is Dubai's coolest month.
  • Late March: Good Friday is on Friday 26 Mar 2027 (DoPT). March averages 28.8°C, the last month before the heat builds.

If you want the festival and the desert in one trip, add the Dubai Evening Desert Safari to the Shopping Festival week for ₹6,999 per person.

Which Dubai trips fit Diwali, Christmas and summer holidays?

Here is how the main Indian holiday windows line up with Dubai's weather and our trips. Holiday dates are from the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) lists for 2026 and 2027.

Desert & Sky adds a desert camp evening and a Burj Khalifa sunset slot, which suits couples and friends at Diwali. Family Funfest is built around a waterpark and an aquarium, which is why it is our summer pick for children.

What can you still do in Dubai in summer?

Quite a lot, if the plan respects the heat. From June to September the average high is 39.4°C to 41.5°C and the average low stays between 28.0°C and 30.9°C (NCM), so there is no cool part of the day. Plan it like this:

  • Mornings early, afternoons indoors. Keep any outdoor sightseeing before late morning, then move inside.
  • The Burj Khalifa and the mall. Entry to Burj Khalifa: At The Top is from inside Dubai Mall, from ₹3,999 per person for a timed ticket to levels 124 and 125. The aquarium in the same mall is a good sit-down break for children.
  • A waterpark day. Family Funfest includes a full day at Atlantis Aquaventure, the outdoor day that suits summer best, since it is spent in the water.
  • Think twice about the desert. The evening safari picks you up at 2:30, 3:00 or 3:30 pm, which in July and August is the hottest part of the day on the dunes. For parents and small children we suggest keeping it for October to April.

If the school summer break is your only window, Dubai still works with a pool hotel and short days.
