The story

Two worlds in one chapter. Days of glass and impossible skyline — Burj Khalifa at sunset, the fountain show, souks and abras on the creek.

Then the desert: 4x4s over the dunes at golden hour, sandboarding, a Bedouin-style camp with fire, food and a sky full of stars the city never shows you.

  1. Land, check in and take the evening at Dubai Marina: a walkable stretch of towers, water and restaurants that works as a soft landing after the flight. A welcome dinner along the promenade, with the yachts on one side and the towers on the other.

  2. Up the Burj Khalifa to level 124 on a booked sunset slot, so you are there for the twenty minutes when the desert goes gold and the city switches on beneath you. The Dubai Mall underneath is one of the largest shopping malls in the world, and the fountain show outside runs every half hour after dark.

  3. A late-morning start, because the dunes are unbearable at midday and perfect at four. Dune bashing with drivers who do this all day, sandboarding down a face, camels, then a Bedouin-style camp: fire, barbecue, and enough distance from the noise to actually see the stars.

  4. Old Dubai in the morning, which is the half of the city most visitors skip. Al Fahidi's wind-tower quarter, an abra across the creek for a dirham or two, and the gold and spice souks on the far bank. The afternoon is free: the skydive over the Palm if you have booked it, or a beach.

  5. A last morning and the flight home, with sand still in your shoes and a working understanding of why a city built on a creek decided to grow upward.

Full refund if you cancel within 48 hours of booking and 30+ days before departure.

Refunds are processed to the original payment method within 7 working days of approval.
