Bali Trip Cost from India 2026: Prices for 5 to 7 Nights

A 5-night Bali trip from Ahmedabad costs from ₹49,999 per person with us, including return flights, hotels, daily breakfast and private sightseeing (prices checked 12 Oct 2026). Add Indonesia's IDR 500,000 visa on arrival, the IDR 150,000 Bali tourist levy and two or three paid activities, and the total comes to about ₹59,000 to ₹81,000 per person before meals, GST and TCS.
That range is built only from our published prices and the two official charges every Indian visitor pays. Each piece is set out below with its source, so you can price your own version of the trip.
How much does a Bali trip cost from India in 2026?
Here is the sum for one person on a 6-day, 5-night trip, using our two Bali trips that include return flights from Ahmedabad. Rupee conversions use the Wise mid-market rate on 12 Oct 2026 (IDR 1,000 = ₹5.34), so they will move a little with the rupiah.
| Cost per person | Lower end | Higher end |
|---|---|---|
| 6D / 5N Bali trip with return flights from Ahmedabad | ₹49,999 | ₹62,999 |
| Indonesia visa on arrival (IDR 500,000) | about ₹2,670 | about ₹2,670 |
| Bali tourist levy (IDR 150,000) | about ₹800 | about ₹800 |
| Paid activities not in the trip | ₹5,239 (Uluwatu kecak dance and Ayung River rafting) | ₹14,335 (Nusa Penida day and Mount Batur sunrise trek) |
| Total before meals, GST and TCS | about ₹58,700 | about ₹80,800 |
Want 6 or 7 nights instead of 5? The extra nights are added to your written quote at the hotel's rate for your dates. The visa and the levy do not change: the visa covers a stay of up to 30 days and the levy is paid once per trip. Meals beyond what each trip includes are yours to budget, and they depend more on where you eat than on anything else.
Which of our Bali trips include flights from Ahmedabad?
Two of our three Bali trips include return flights from Ahmedabad. All three are 6 days and 5 nights, priced per person.
| Trip | From (per person) | Return flights from Ahmedabad | Where you stay |
|---|---|---|---|
| Bali: Ubud Rice Terraces & Seminyak | ₹49,999 | Included (one stop) | 3 nights Ubud, 2 nights Seminyak |
| Bali: Islands, Rice Fields & Cliff Sunsets | ₹62,999 | Included | Ubud, then Uluwatu |
| Bali: Ubud and the Coast | ₹74,999 | Not included | Ubud and Nusa Dua, private pools |
What the difference in price buys
The ₹49,999 trip is the simplest way to see both halves of Bali: daily breakfast, a private car with driver on sightseeing days, entries to Tegalalang, Tirta Empul, Tegenungan and Tanah Lot, and a Balinese cooking class. Walking is light, which makes it the easiest of the three for elderly parents. Flights route through Kuala Lumpur or Singapore.
The ₹62,999 trip adds three dinners (one of them at a cliff-edge table in Uluwatu), a waterfall day, the kecak fire dance at Uluwatu temple, help with the visa on arrival, and a trip captain with local crew. The waterfall day involves steps and wet rock, so it suits steady walkers.
The ₹74,999 trip is built for couples: private-pool villas in Ubud and Nusa Dua, a floating breakfast and the Uluwatu kecak dance. International flights are quoted separately, so it works if you are flying from another city or using airline miles.
What does the Indonesia visa on arrival cost for Indians?
Indian passport holders can use Indonesia's B1 tourist visa on arrival. On the official e-Visa portal of Indonesia's Directorate General of Immigration (evisa.imigrasi.go.id, checked 12 Oct 2026), the B1 visa for an Indian passport:
- costs IDR 500,000 (about ₹2,670);
- allows a stay of up to 30 days, extendable once for another 30 days;
- is valid for 90 days from issue;
- needs a passport valid for at least six months and a ticket out of Indonesia, shown to the officer on arrival.
You can pay at the counter when you land in Denpasar, or buy the same visa online before you fly as an e-VOA. Both cost IDR 500,000 today: the portal lists that fee for the online e-VOA, and ANTARA's August 2026 report gives the same figure for the airport counter. Applying online means one queue less on arrival. Our Indonesia visa guide walks through the online steps.
One change to watch: on 12 Aug 2026 Indonesia's Director General of Immigration announced a plan to charge IDR 750,000 for an e-VOA bought before travel and IDR 1,000,000 for a visa bought on arrival, as reported by ANTARA, Indonesia's national news agency. No start date had been published, and the official portal still showed IDR 500,000 when we checked on 12 Oct 2026. If the new fees do come in, applying online would save about ₹1,340 per person.
The same portal also says every traveller must submit an arrival card on the All Indonesia website (allindonesia.imigrasi.go.id) within three days before arriving.
What is the Bali tourist levy and how do you pay it?
Bali charges international tourists a levy of IDR 150,000 (about ₹800) per person, under Bali Provincial Regulation No. 2 of 2025. According to the official Love Bali website run by the Bali provincial government (lovebali.baliprov.go.id, checked 12 Oct 2026):
- it is paid once per trip, not each time you enter;
- payment is cashless only: online through Love Bali before you land, at counters at the airport and ports, or at registered hotels and attractions;
- you receive a voucher with a QR code by email;
- holders of KITAS, KITAP, student, diplomatic and official visas are among those exempt, so a holiday on a visa on arrival pays it.
For a couple, visa and levy together come to IDR 1,300,000, about ₹6,940. Paying the levy online before you fly saves a step at Denpasar.
What do Bali activities cost?
These are our Bali activities that most often get added to a trip, with prices checked 12 Oct 2026. The full list, from water sports to temple tours, is on our things to do in Bali page.
| Activity | From | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| Uluwatu kecak fire dance at sunset | ₹2,299 per person | 4 hours |
| Ayung River white-water rafting | ₹2,940 per person | About 3 hours; 5 with transfers |
| Mount Batur sunrise trek | ₹6,342 per person | 8 to 9 hours, mostly before dawn |
| Nusa Penida west day tour | ₹7,993 per person | About 10 hours, door to door |
| Ngurah Rai airport transfer, private sedan | ₹1,724 per vehicle | About 1 hour |
Two things to know before adding activities. First, check what your trip already covers: the ₹62,999 trip includes the kecak dance, so you would not book it twice. Second, prices marked per vehicle are split across everyone in the car, so a family of four pays a quarter each.
What else should you budget for?
- Meals. Breakfast is included on all three trips, and the ₹62,999 trip adds three dinners. Other lunches and dinners are yours. If you eat vegetarian or Jain food, say so in your first message and we will plan the day's stops around it.
- Getting around on free days. Our trips include transfers and the sightseeing days. If you want a car on a free day, we add one to the quote, priced per vehicle.
- Travel insurance. Not included in any of the three trips. Buy a policy that covers medical treatment abroad before you fly.
- Spa, shopping and tips. Not in any trip price.
- Taxes. GST and TCS on overseas trips are shown, itemised, in your written quote before you pay.
How can you keep a Bali trip within budget?
- Split your stay between two bases. One inland (Ubud) and one on the coast covers most of what people come for, with only one hotel change.
- Do the paperwork online. Buying the e-VOA and paying the levy before you fly costs the same today and saves time on arrival.
- Travel as a group of four. Per-vehicle transfers and car hire cost the same for one person or four.
- Choose a trip with flights included. One quote covers flights, hotels and transfers from Ahmedabad, so there is less to compare.
- Add activities slowly. Two or three paid days on top of a 5-night trip is usually enough; a day on the beach or by the pool costs nothing extra.
