The story

The operator calls this a 'Custom Bali Full Day Private Car Charter': a private vehicle and driver for a full day, about 10 hours, with the itinerary set by you rather than following a fixed tour route. No guide or set of included sights comes with it by name; instead, it is transport and a driver you can direct to wherever you want to go in Bali that day, whether that is a mix of temples, beaches, rice terraces or shopping.

This suits travellers who already know what they want to see and would rather have a private driver at their disposal than book several separate day tours, or a family or friends group wanting the flexibility to change plans partway through the day. It is a poor fit for anyone who wants a guide narrating the sights, since the operator describes this as a car charter rather than a guided tour.

Because the sheet gives one rate with no stated vehicle size, passenger count or included sights, treat the exact inclusions (fuel, driver's meals, entry fees) as points to confirm with your captain before you book, and the price is shown here per person until the operator confirms whether it is charged per person or for the whole car.

What happens

The plan as the operator runs it. Start times and pickup are confirmed for your date.

  1. Collection from your Bali hotel by private vehicle and driver.

  2. The day's route and stops are set by you; the operator does not include a fixed itinerary or list of sights for this charter.

  3. Back to your Bali hotel; the whole day runs about 10 hours by the operator.
