Bali: Ubud Rice Terraces & Seminyak
Ubud & Seminyak, Bali
Highlights
- Tegalalang rice terraces at first light, before the tour buses
- Tirta Empul holy springs and the Tegenungan waterfall
- Ubud Monkey Forest and the palace market
- A Balinese cooking class in a village kitchen
- Sunset at Tanah Lot, then the Seminyak beach clubs
The story
Bali splits cleanly in two and the trick is doing both. Ubud is the inland half — rice terraces stepping down the valleys, monkeys with no manners, and an infinity pool over a green ravine at every price point.
Then you come down to Seminyak for the last two nights, where the beach clubs face west and the whole island turns out to watch the sun go into the sea.
Itinerary
-
Fly via Kuala Lumpur or Singapore. Transfer up to Ubud — about ninety minutes through the rice. Easy evening.
-
Early to Tegalalang while the light is low and the crowds are not there. Tirta Empul in the afternoon, Tegenungan waterfall on the way back.
-
Monkey Forest and the palace in the morning, then a cooking class — market first, then the kitchen, then you eat what you made.
-
Down to the coast, stopping at Tanah Lot for the temple on the rock at sunset.
-
The day is yours. Beach club, surf lesson at Kuta, or the Seminyak boutiques. Sunset on the sand.
-
Late checkout where the hotel allows it, then Denpasar.
We'll WhatsApp you the full day-by-day itinerary — free, no calls unless you ask.
