The story

This is the operator's full-day version of the Dubai city tour: a whole day, rather than a morning, going round the city from your hotel and back. The operator sells it two ways, in a vehicle shared with other guests for about nine hours, or in a private vehicle for your own group for about eight and a half. The operator names the tour and its length but does not list the stops, the lunch arrangements or whether a guide travels with you. Those are on the operator's voucher, and your captain reads them to you before you pay, so you know exactly which places you will see and which tickets, if any, are inside the price.

What it feels like: a long day of getting in and out of a vehicle, with the city changing outside the window between stops. On the shared vehicle the day follows the driver's route and the rest of the group, with set stops. In a private vehicle the pace is yours: longer where the children are happy, shorter where the grandparents are tired.
