Georgia Trip Cost from India 2026: 4–7 Days from ₹49,999

A 4 to 7 day Georgia trip from India costs from ₹49,999 per person for our 4-day Tbilisi and wine weekend to ₹89,999 for 7 days in the Svaneti mountains, with return flights from Ahmedabad (prices checked 16 Oct 2026). A Kazbegi day trip from Tbilisi adds ₹4,499 per person, and most Indians also need a Georgian e-visa at USD 20 plus a 2% service fee.

All five trips include return flights from Ahmedabad, hand-picked stays with daily breakfast, transfers, the listed experiences and a trip captain, and we handle the visa steps where they apply. GST and TCS are shown in your written quote.

Prices checked 16 Oct 2026 from our live trip pages. Visa rules checked with Georgia's e-visa portal, the Georgian National Tourism Administration and the Legislative Herald of Georgia, and the ski season with georgia.travel, in October 2026.

How much does a Georgia trip cost from India?

Our five Georgia trips, per person, as listed on 16 Oct 2026:

Our tripLengthFrom (per person)What the days look like
Georgia Express: Tbilisi & Wine Weekend4 days, 3 nights₹49,999Tbilisi old town and sulphur baths, a Kakheti wine day, Mtskheta
Georgia Wine Trail: Kakheti5 days, 4 nights₹64,999Family qvevri cellars, Sighnaghi, two monasteries, a vineyard night
Georgia: Tbilisi & Kazbegi6 days, 5 nights₹74,999Tbilisi, the Georgian Military Highway, Gergeti Trinity Church, Kakheti
Georgia Ski: Gudauri Powder6 days, 5 nights₹79,999Lift pass, gear and ski school, a Kazbegi day
Georgia: Svaneti Highlands7 days, 6 nights₹89,999Mestia's stone towers, Ushguli, a glacier walk, the Koruldi Lakes

The price rises with distance from Tbilisi and with what is bundled in. The Express trip stays in and around the capital. Svaneti needs a long drive each way into the Greater Caucasus. The ski trip includes the lift pass, equipment and lessons.

What do the 4- to 7-day Georgia trips include?

Every trip lists the same core: return flights from Ahmedabad (other metro departures on request), hand-picked stays with daily breakfast, all transfers and the listed experiences, the visa steps where they apply, and a trip captain with local crew. Meals not listed, optional add-ons, tips and travel insurance are extra. Our trip pages suggest carrying some lari, the Georgian currency, for villages.

Who each trip suits

  • Express, ₹49,999: a long weekend; families and couples. Old-town lanes and cobbles mean a fair amount of walking.
  • Wine Trail, ₹64,999: couples and parents; most days are cellar visits and long seated lunches. Built around wine tasting, so it suits teenagers better than young children.
  • Tbilisi & Kazbegi, ₹74,999: couples, friends and active parents; a four-wheel-drive climb up to the mountain church.
  • Ski: Gudauri, ₹79,999: families with children who want to learn; not advised for elderly parents.
  • Svaneti, ₹89,999: walkers; the main hike climbs about 1,000 metres, so not for elderly parents.

How much do Tbilisi and Kazbegi day trips add?

Tbilisi: Old Town and the Sulphur Baths is ₹2,499 per person for a half day from 3pm: a guided walk, the cable car to Narikala fortress and an hour in a private sulphur bath room. Bath rooms are booked by the room, so a family can go in together. The scrub and massage are paid at the bathhouse.

Kazbegi: The Church on the Mountain is ₹4,499 per person for a full day from 7am: transport from Tbilisi, a four-wheel-drive transfer up to Gergeti Trinity Church, which georgia.travel puts at 2,170 metres, an English-speaking guide and a Georgian lunch in a family house. It is a long day, around 12 hours with roughly six of them driving.

CombinationFrom (per person)
Express, 4 days, plus the Kazbegi day₹54,498
Wine Trail, 5 days, plus Tbilisi old town and baths₹67,498
Ski: Gudauri, 6 days, plus Tbilisi old town and baths₹82,498
Tbilisi & Kazbegi, 6 days, with a night near the mountain₹74,999

The Express trip already includes the old town and the baths, so the Kazbegi day is its natural add-on. If the mountains matter more than the price gap, the 6-day Tbilisi & Kazbegi trip sleeps near the church instead of doing it in one long day, and adds a Kakheti wine day.

When is the ski season in Gudauri?

Georgia's national tourism site (georgia.travel, checked October 2026) says the Gudauri ski season runs from early December to mid-April, with January and February considered the best months. The resort base is at about 1,989 metres and the lifts reach about 3,276 metres. Gudauri is about 120 km from Tbilisi, a drive of around two to two and a half hours. Several ski schools run individual and group lessons, and the runs are colour-coded, with green for beginners.

Our Gudauri ski trip is planned for January to March. It includes the lift pass, equipment and ski school on wide beginner slopes, a freeride day with a guide for confident skiers, and a day off the skis at Kazbegi. georgia.travel says the road rarely closes, though it can be dangerous in heavy snow, and our trip pages note that the road on to Kazbegi can close after heavy snowfall; we keep a plan B. For a family of four adults, the ski trip is from ₹3,19,996 before GST and TCS.

Do Indians need a visa for Georgia?

Yes, for ordinary passports, unless you already hold a visa or residence permit from a listed country. The Georgian National Tourism Administration's visa page (georgia.travel, checked October 2026) lists India only among countries whose diplomatic or official passport holders are exempt.

Your situationWhat you needTimeCost
Ordinary Indian passport, no other visaGeorgian e-visaAt least 5 working daysUSD 20 plus a 2% service fee
Valid visa or residence permit of a listed country, such as the US, UK, UAE or a Schengen stateNo Georgian visa, for up to 90 days in any 180Nothing to apply forNil

The e-visa

Georgia's e-visa portal (evisa.gov.ge, checked October 2026) gives the fee as USD 20 plus a 2% service fee, roughly ₹1,940 at the market rate on 15 Oct 2026, and says a decision takes not less than five working days. Your passport must be valid for at least three months beyond the visa and have two free pages. You also need travel and health insurance valid across Georgia, proof of accommodation and proof of funds. Apply at least three weeks before you fly.

Visa-free with another visa

Government Ordinance No 256, published in the Legislative Herald of Georgia (matsne.gov.ge, checked October 2026), lets holders of a visa or residence permit from listed countries stay without a Georgian visa for 90 days in any 180-day period, if the visa or permit is valid on the day of entry. The list includes the US, the UK, the UAE and the EU states. It was amended on 17 Apr 2025, so check the current list before booking.

Is Georgia easy for vegetarian travellers?

Easier than many people expect. georgia.travel calls Georgian food "heaven for vegetarians and vegans", and names dishes such as pkhali, made from vegetables and greens with walnuts, aubergine with walnuts, khachapuri, a cheese-filled bread, and elarji, a cheesy cornmeal dish. Ask about egg and butter if you avoid them.

Our trips include breakfast daily, and most other meals are yours to choose, which helps. The supra feasts on the wine trip and the family lunch on the Kazbegi day are set meals, so tell us about vegetarian or Jain meals when you enquire, and we check with each host and restaurant before you pay. Jain meals, with no onion, garlic or root vegetables, need the most notice.

What does a couple or a family of four pay?

Multiply the per-person price by the number of travellers. These totals are before GST and TCS, and children are priced in your quote by age and bed.

Who is travellingTripTotal from
CoupleExpress, 4 days₹99,998
CoupleWine Trail, 5 days₹1,29,998
CoupleTbilisi & Kazbegi, 6 days₹1,49,998
CoupleSvaneti, 7 days₹1,79,998
Four adultsExpress, 4 days₹1,99,996
Four adultsExpress plus the Kazbegi day₹2,17,992

Add the e-visa for each traveller who needs one. A 4-day Express trip starting on a Friday uses two days of leave.
