Safari World has been open since February 1988 and is two parks on one site: the Safari Park, a drive-through open zoo that the park's own page describes as 8 km and about 45 minutes long, and the Marine Park, which houses animals 'from land, sea and air' and runs a programme of live shows through the day. What it feels like: the Safari Park is the part children remember.
