1. Step 01

   Morning Run

   Check in at the marina in the morning, safety briefing, and then a fast run south-east to Phi Phi Leh, which takes around forty-five minutes depending on the sea. Speedboats bounce, so the front seats are the fun ones and the back seats are the sensible ones.

2. Step 02

   Lagoons & Lunch

   Maya Bay first, which is the beach from the film, reopened with visitor caps and a boardwalk approach from the far side to protect the reef. Pileh Lagoon afterwards, enclosed by limestone walls with water the colour of a swimming pool, and Monkey Beach, where the macaques are bold and should not be fed. Buffet lunch on Phi Phi Don.

3. Step 03

   Snorkel & Return

   A snorkel stop over the coral gardens on the way back, then Khai island for the last swim off a sandbar. National park fees are included in the price, which is worth knowing because they are collected separately and are not small. Back at the marina by around five.
