Rajasthan Trip from Ahmedabad 2026: 4–8 Days from ₹22,999

Rajasthan Trip from Ahmedabad 2026: 4–8 Days from ₹22,999

A Rajasthan trip from Ahmedabad costs from ₹22,999 per person for 5 days in Jaipur and Pushkar to ₹34,999 per person for our 8-day Jaipur, Jodhpur and Udaipur loop, with stays, daily breakfast, transfers and fort entries (prices checked 16 Oct 2026). A 4-day Udaipur stay in a lake-facing room is from ₹39,999 per person, and a Jaisalmer desert camp night adds ₹4,999.

Five of these trips include travel to Rajasthan and back, by flight or AC transport, and your written quote says which; the Udaipur trip is priced from Udaipur with a car and driver, and we can add travel. GST and TCS are shown in your written quote; TCS applies only to trips abroad, so a Rajasthan quote shows GST alone.

Prices checked 16 Oct 2026 from our live trip pages. Ranthambore booking checked with the Rajasthan Forest Department, and monsoon dates with the India Meteorological Department, in October 2026.

What the price covers

The first five trips list travel there and back (flight or AC transport), hand-picked stays with daily breakfast, all transfers and listed experiences, fort and palace entries as listed, and a trip captain with a local crew. Meals not listed, optional add-ons, tips and personal expenses are extra, and palace-hotel upgrades can be quoted on any trip. Udaipur: The Lake City lists three nights in a lake-facing room with breakfast, a car and driver throughout, City Palace entry, the Jag Mandir boat and tickets for the Dharohar folk dance at Bagore ki Haveli; flights, lunches, dinners and camera fees are extra.

Do the trips include flights from Ahmedabad?

None of our Rajasthan trips lists a fixed flight from Ahmedabad. For the five that include travel, the quote names what we have priced for your dates: a flight, or AC transport by road or rail. Udaipur and Mount Abu are the nearest parts of Rajasthan to Ahmedabad, so for those your quote may name AC road transport rather than a flight. We don't print average fares, because they change with the date.

Udaipur, Jaipur, Jaisalmer or Ranthambore: which route suits you?

  • Jaipur and Pushkar: Amber Fort early, Hawa Mahal, the City Palace and Jantar Mantar, then Pushkar's lake and ghats for the evening aarti and the Brahma temple, which Rajasthan Tourism describes as the only temple in the world dedicated to Lord Brahma. In November the camel fair changes the town completely.
  • Jaisalmer: a living fort, which Rajasthan Tourism describes as still home to shops, hotels and havelis where families have lived for generations, plus Patwon ki Haveli, Gadisar lake, a camel to the Sam dunes for sunset and a night in the desert camp.
  • Ranthambore: two tiger safaris from a lodge, with an afternoon at Ranthambore Fort, built by the Chauhan rulers in the 10th century (Rajasthan Tourism). Sightings are never promised, which is why the trip has two drives.
  • Udaipur and Mount Abu: Lake Pichola, the City Palace and the Jag Mandir boat, then Rajasthan's only hill station, with Nakki Lake and the Dilwara temples, five Jain temples carved in marble. Photography is not allowed inside.
  • Royal Triangle: Jaipur, the blue city of Jodhpur and Mehrangarh fort, the Jain temple at Ranakpur on the drive south, and three nights in Udaipur.

For Jain families from Ahmedabad, Udaipur & Mount Abu and the Royal Triangle both include a major Jain temple visit. Tell us your food needs when you enquire, and we check Jain meals with the hotels before you pay.

Which Rajasthan trips are easy for elderly parents?

Our trip pages note how each day feels for older travellers:

TripHow easy for parentsWhy
Udaipur: The Lake CityEasiestGentle walking and a sunset boat; some old-town lanes are too narrow for cars, so expect a short walk to the hotel
Rajasthan: Ranthambore TigersEasySafaris are seated in an open jeep or canter, with one short fort walk, though starts are early
Rajasthan: Udaipur & Mount AbuEasyUnhurried days around lake boat rides and a hill station, rather than long treks
Rajasthan: Jaipur & PushkarModerateFort and bazaar visits involve stairs and some walking; the Pushkar days are calmer
Rajasthan Royal TriangleModerateLong road days, such as about five hours from Jaipur to Jodhpur
Rajasthan Desert: JaisalmerModerateUneven stone lanes in the fort, and a short walk on soft sand to the camel

For a winter trip with parents, Udaipur is the simplest choice: three nights in one hotel, a car and driver, and no packing up every morning. Pair it with Mount Abu if they would like cooler air and the Dilwara temples.

How do you book a Ranthambore tiger safari?

Ranthambore safaris are booked through the Rajasthan Forest Department. Its safari and zoo ticket page names forestrajasthan.com as the portal for "Online Booking/Permit for Ranthambore Tiger Reserve" (forest.rajasthan.gov.in, checked October 2026). Rajasthan Tourism places the park 14 km from Sawai Madhopur and lists tigers, leopards, sloth bears, sambar, chital and over 300 species of birds.

On our Ranthambore trip we book both safaris for you: a dawn drive, which is the best chance of seeing a tiger, and a second drive the next day. Our trip page notes that zones are assigned by the forest department rather than chosen, so we can't promise a particular zone. It gives October to June as this trip's season; if you are thinking of July, August or September, check before booking.

What does a desert camp night in Jaisalmer include?

Jaisalmer: Desert Camp & Camel Safari is an overnight from ₹4,999 per person. It includes the transfer from Jaisalmer town and back, a camel ride onto the Sam dunes for sunset, a night in a Swiss tent with an attached bathroom, dinner and breakfast, and a folk music and Kalbeliya dance performance. Jeep dune-bashing, paramotoring and tips for the performers are extra. The Jaisalmer trip above already includes a camp night.

Rajasthan Tourism lists camel safaris at both Sam and Khuri dunes and gives October to March as the time for camping. Our page adds that nights drop close to freezing in December and January, and although the tents have quilts, everyone needs a warm jacket. Getting on and off a camel takes a little balance, and children ride with an adult.

Which months are comfortable in Rajasthan?

Our trip pages give October to March as the season, with fierce summers above 40°C. On the India Meteorological Department's normal dates, the monsoon reaches Jaipur around 28 June and withdraws around 23 September, and reaches Jodhpur around 30 June and leaves by about 19 September (IMD, new normal monsoon dates, checked October 2026). By October the monsoon has normally withdrawn.

That makes Diwali, the November long weekends and the December school holidays good times to go. Our guides to places to visit in November and Diwali trips from Ahmedabad cover those dates. Our Jaipur & Pushkar trip can be timed for the camel fair in November. Rajasthan Tourism describes the Pushkar Fair as an annual camel and livestock fair; its dates are set each year, so check them before booking.

What does a couple or a family of four pay?

Multiply the per-person price by the number of travellers. Children are priced in your quote by age and bed. These totals are before GST.
