Goa Trip Cost from Ahmedabad 2026: 4–5 Days from ₹11,999

A 4–5 day Goa trip from Ahmedabad costs from ₹11,999 per person on our 4-day monsoon trip, and from ₹15,999 to ₹34,999 per person for our other Goa trips, with stays, daily breakfast, transfers and the listed activities (prices checked 16 Oct 2026). A Dudhsagar waterfall day adds ₹3,299 per person.

Five of our six Goa trips include travel to Goa and back, by flight or AC transport, and your written quote says which; the honeymoon trip is priced without flights. GST and TCS are shown in your written quote; TCS applies only to trips abroad, so on a Goa trip the quote shows GST alone.

Prices checked 16 Oct 2026 from our live trip pages. Dudhsagar rules checked with the Goa Forest Department, and monsoon dates with the India Meteorological Department, in October 2026.

What the price covers

The first five trips list travel there and back (flight or AC transport), hand-picked stays with daily breakfast, all transfers and listed experiences, and a trip captain with a local crew. Meals beyond breakfast, optional add-ons, tips and scooter hire are not included. The Quiet South lists four nights on the beach, airport transfers both ways, a dolphin boat, a day at Cabo de Rama fort and a honeymoon setup on arrival; flights, meals beyond breakfast and alcohol are extra.

None has fixed departure dates; each is a private trip priced for your dates.

North Goa or South Goa: how do the trips differ?

North Goa is the busy, sociable half. On our North Goa trip you stay around Baga or Anjuna, spend a morning on the Baga water sports, walk the Anjuna flea market, watch the sunset from Chapora fort and spend evenings at the cliff clubs of Vagator. The water sports are sold on the beach, so if you are travelling with children, ask the operator about age and weight limits before you pay.

South Goa is the quiet half. The Slow Beaches trip is based at Palolem, with a morning kayak on the flat water of the bay, with a fair chance of dolphins just beyond it, Cola beach with its freshwater lagoon, Agonda in the afternoon and a lunch at a working spice plantation. The Quiet South uses the same coast at a slower pace, with a dawn boat to Butterfly Beach, Cabo de Rama fort and one day with nothing planned at all. Its beach huts come down for the monsoon, so our trip page gives its season as roughly November to April.

Goa Heritage & Susegad is neither beach half. You stay in Panjim, walk the Portuguese lanes of Fontainhas, see the Basilica of Bom Jesus and Se Cathedral in Old Goa, taste feni at a distillery and take a sunset cruise on the Mandovi. It suits families with grandparents, because most of the time is spent on flat streets or seated.

Which trip suits elderly parents or young children?

  • Elderly parents: Heritage & Susegad, or The Quiet South, which our trip page describes as unhurried, with a fort reached by a short, level walk.
  • Young children: Slow Beaches works for children old enough to swim and follow instructions on the kayak. Keep them close on the dawn boat and the Cabo de Rama cliffs.
  • Not for either: the Adventure trip, where the scuba dive and the rafting both need basic swimming and the waterfall jeep ride is rough.

Do Goa trips include flights from Ahmedabad?

Our Goa trip pages do not list a flight from Ahmedabad as a fixed inclusion. Five trips say "travel there and back by flight or AC transport; your written quote says which", so when you send your dates and the number of travellers, the quote names the travel we have priced from Ahmedabad and its timing. The Quiet South excludes flights, and we can add travel to the same quote if you want one booking.

We don't print an average fare, because fares from Ahmedabad move with the date; if your dates can shift, ask us to price two options side by side. A 4-day trip that starts on a Friday or ends on a Monday uses only two days of leave.

If you are starting from Bangalore rather than Ahmedabad, our Bangalore to Goa bus guide covers the bus options.

What does a Dudhsagar day add, and when can you go?

Goa: Dudhsagar and the Spice Road is a full day from ₹3,299 per person. It includes return transfers from north or south Goa, the forest department jeep and permits, time at the falls, a spice plantation visit with a Goan buffet lunch, and life jackets. Camera fees inside the sanctuary are extra. For a family of four the day comes to ₹13,196 before GST.

The falls sit inside the protected forest at Mollem, and the Goa Forest Department's rules for the Dudhsagar circuit are strict: only jeeps registered with the department go in from the Collem gate, private cars and two-wheelers are not allowed, entry from the railway track is not allowed, and nobody enters the falls without a life jacket (Goa Forest Department public notice for the circuit, issued for the 2015-16 season, forest.goa.gov.in, checked October 2026). The department can revise these rules each season, so check them before booking.

The circuit closes for the monsoon. Our Dudhsagar trip page gives the closure as roughly June to September and names October and November as the time to go, when the falls are full and the road is open. The Forest Department sets each season's opening date, entry hours and daily limit on trips, so check before booking if your trip is in late September or early October.

The jeep track is rough and fords the river: hard on a bad back, not advised late in pregnancy, and better for confident children than toddlers.

What does monsoon Goa offer at ₹11,999?

Goa Monsoon Magic is our cheapest Goa trip, from ₹11,999 per person for 4 days and 3 nights, and our trip page sets it in June to September. On the India Meteorological Department's normal dates, the monsoon reaches Goa by about 10 June and withdraws from Panjim around mid-October (IMD, new normal monsoon dates, checked October 2026).

What you get in those months is green Goa: flooded paddy fields, a spice farm walk in the rain, shacks that stay open with the rain on the roof, and beaches with few people on them. What you give up is the jeep ride to Dudhsagar, because the forest circuit is closed through the monsoon. If seeing Dudhsagar itself matters to you, travel from October; for a monsoon trip, your quote says what the waterfall day covers on your dates.

Two cautions from our trip page: forest paths get slippery in the rain, which matters for parents, and waterfalls run at full force, so keep children well back from the water's edge.

What does a couple, family or group of friends pay?

Multiply the per-person price by the number of travellers. Children are priced in your quote, because the price depends on their age and whether they need their own bed. These totals are before GST.

Food: vegetarian and Jain

Only breakfast is included on most of these trips, so you choose where to eat lunch and dinner, which suits vegetarian and Jain families. Tell us your food needs when you enquire, and we check the meals that are part of the trip, such as the spice plantation lunch, before you pay.

More on the state is in our Goa destination guide.
