What we work through with you
Your date and who is joining
Tell us the date you want and who is coming, with children’s ages and any access or food needs, so we can check suitability with the operator.
The practical arrangements
We check available times, the meeting point, transport if listed and the operator’s requirements. Optional extras are confirmed separately.
Your written quote
Review the final arrangements, total price, inclusions and payment and cancellation terms before booking. An enquiry does not reserve this trip.
The experience outline
The plan as the operator runs it. Start times and pickup are confirmed for your date.
- Step 01
The Trail
Three hours and six dishes across two hawker centres with a guide whose actual job is knowing which of four identical-looking stalls has the queue for a reason. Starting at Chinatown Complex, a large market and food centre, then walking to Maxwell or Tiong Bahru depending on the day and what is shut. Expect the classics done properly: Hainanese chicken rice, char kway teow, satay, carrot cake, which is radish and not carrot, and laksa. The genuinely useful part is the method rather than the food: how to chope a table with a packet of tissues, how ordering and paying works stall by stall, and what to ask for. Kopi and kaya toast to finish.
