What happens

1. Step 01 Pickup

   Collection from your Phuket hotel in the late afternoon; the exact pickup time comes with your voucher, timed for sunset. In the shared vehicle, other travellers are collected on the way.

2. Step 02 Windmill Viewpoint

   A stop at the Windmill Viewpoint, as named on the operator's list; the order of the two stops is set by the operator on the day.

3. Step 03 Promthep Cape at sunset

   Time at Laem Phromthep for the lighthouse, the paved viewpoint path over Ko Kaeo Phitsadan and Ya Nui beach, and the sunset itself. Stalls and cafes are around the cape if you want a drink while you wait.

4. Step 04 Return

   Back to your hotel after sunset; the whole evening runs about four hours by the operator.

• Promthep Cape is a headland viewpoint; the visit is for the view and the sunset, not for swimming.
• Sunset timing depends on the season and the weather; on a cloudy evening the colour can be muted. Your captain cannot guarantee a clear sky.
• A paved path leads down to the viewpoint; wear comfortable shoes and tell your captain if anyone in your group finds slopes or steps difficult.
• As a well-known sunset spot, the cape can be busy in the evening; it is not a private or quiet viewpoint.
