Its programmes are about caring for the elephants rather than riding them. On the Save and Care programme, as the sanctuary describes it, a guide introduces the elephants and their behaviour, you prepare banana, sugarcane, cucumber and corn and feed them, mix a herbal mud by hand and scrub it onto their skin, then bathe them in a natural water pool before a shower and a Thai lunch box.
