The story

PADO Media Art Space is an indoor exhibition of immersive, interactive digital art at Naklua, in north Pattaya. Its 12 exhibition halls hold 14 themed experiences built from Korean media-art content, among them Universe, Aurora, Aqua, Harmony (flowers), Secret (a forest), Wish, Playground and Travel. It opens daily from 10 am to 9 pm, with the last admission at 8 pm, and the venue reckons on 1 to 2 hours for a visit (padomediaart.com, checked 24 Sep 2026).

What it feels like: you walk out of Pattaya's heat and glare into dark rooms where the walls, floor and ceiling are all moving light. In one hall flowers bloom on the walls around you; in another, an aurora and a starry sky spread overhead; in another, paper lanterns float up into the dark. The exhibition is interactive, so children can reach out and see the room respond, and everyone ends up taking photographs. It is an easy evening plan when the beach is done for the day.
