The story

A simple, well-paced first week in Bali. You stay six nights at Bliss Surfer Hotel Legian, a short walk from the south-coast beaches, with breakfast every morning.

The touring is spread out so you never feel rushed. A morning of water sports at Tanjung Benoa ends with the sunset cliffs of Uluwatu Temple. Another afternoon takes you to Tanah Lot, the temple that sits on a rock in the sea. Then a full day heads inland to Kintamani and the view over Mount Batur, with a waterfall, a coffee plantation and Ubud Market on the way.

Two days are kept free. Lie by the pool, take a surf lesson in Kuta, or ask your captain to add a spa or a day trip.

All sightseeing and transfers are in a private car, with parking charges covered. You get a flower garland when you land and a bottle of water each day.

Your journey outline

Each stage can cover one or more days. Tell us what you would change; your final itinerary is agreed before booking.

  1. Land at Bali airport (DPS). You are welcomed with a flower garland and a bottle of water, and a private car takes you to Bliss Surfer Hotel Legian. The sample slot is 10:00 to 12:00. The rest of the day is yours.

  2. Your private car is with you from 07:30 to 18:15. The morning, 07:30 to 12:00, is at Tanjung Benoa beach, where your banana boat ride is included. Other rides there cost extra. From 15:00 you head to Uluwatu Temple, a sea temple on the south-western tip of the Bukit Peninsula, and stay till sunset. Back by 18:15.

  3. A slow morning. From 14:45 to 18:15 a half-day tour takes you to Tanah Lot, one of Bali's main sea temples, set on a rock off the south-west coast. Its name means "land in the sea".

  4. A day at leisure. Explore Legian and Seminyak at your own pace, or ask your captain to add a spa or an activity.

  5. The long day of the trip, 08:45 to 21:15. You drive up to Kintamani, on the rim of the Mount Batur caldera, for the view over the volcano and its lake. The package includes visits to Tegenungan Waterfall, a coffee plantation and Ubud Market; your captain confirms the order of stops.

  6. Another day at leisure. Beach, pool, shopping, or nothing at all.

  7. Breakfast, then check out. A private car takes you to Bali airport (DPS). The sample slot is 10:00 to 11:15.
