The story

A Bali week with a bit more action. You stay six nights at Fairfield by Marriott Bali Legian, with breakfast every morning.

Day two mixes a banana boat ride at Tanjung Benoa with sunset at Uluwatu Temple. Day three is the fun one: a 60-minute ATV ride of your own on muddy tracks past villages, rice fields and rivers, with a local lunch. Then comes Tanah Lot, the temple on a rock in the sea, and a full day through Ubud and up to Kintamani, with the Desa Swing, a coffee plantation and Ubud Market on the way.

One day is kept free before you fly home.

All sightseeing and transfers are in a private car, with parking charges covered. You get a flower garland when you land and a bottle of water each day.

Your journey outline

Each stage can cover one or more days. Tell us what you would change; your final itinerary is agreed before booking.

  1. Land at Bali airport (DPS). You are welcomed with a flower garland and a bottle of water, and a private car takes you to Fairfield by Marriott Bali Legian. The sample slot is 10:00 to 11:00. The rest of the day is yours.

  2. Your private car is with you from 07:30 to 18:15. The morning, 07:30 to 12:00, is at Tanjung Benoa beach, where your banana boat ride is included. Other rides there cost extra. From 15:00 you head to Uluwatu Temple, a sea temple on the south-western tip of the Bukit Peninsula, and stay till sunset. Back by 18:15.

  3. From 08:15 to 12:45 you ride an ATV of your own for 60 minutes, off-road through jungle paths, villages, rice fields, rivers and muddy tracks. A local lunch is included. Wear clothes you do not mind getting dirty.

  4. A slow morning. From 14:45 to 18:15 a half-day tour takes you to Tanah Lot, one of Bali's main sea temples, set on a rock off the south-west coast. Its name means "land in the sea".

  5. The long day of the trip, 08:45 to 21:15. You head through Ubud and up to Kintamani, on the rim of the Mount Batur caldera, for the view over the volcano. The package includes the Desa Swing, a coffee plantation and Ubud Market; your captain confirms the order of stops.

  6. A day at leisure. Beach, pool, shopping, or a spa your captain can add.

  7. Breakfast, then check out. A private car takes you to Bali airport (DPS). The sample slot is 10:00 to 11:15.
