The story

The Fun Discovery Pass is Sentosa's own token system: instead of buying one ticket for one attraction, you buy a block of tokens and spend them across the island as you decide what to do, at more than 80 attractions, shops and eateries (sentosa.com.sg, checked 26 Sep 2026). The operator sells the 60-token pass and the 95-token pass, which Sentosa markets as "90 tokens plus 5 free". Once you use the pass for the first time, it stays valid for two consecutive days, so tokens left over on day one carry to day two; any left at the end of that window expire and are not refunded. The pass itself is good for 180 days from the date you buy it, so it can be booked well ahead of a trip and activated on the day you actually go to Sentosa.

What this feels like in practice: you arrive without a fixed plan for the day, check the token cost board or the app at each attraction, and decide as a family what's worth the tokens right there. It suits a first Sentosa day when nobody has settled on the luge over the aquarium over the ropes course, because nobody has to decide until they are standing in front of it. The trade-off is that this is not a ready-made itinerary: your captain cannot tell you in advance exactly what a day of tokens will cover, because that depends on which attractions you pick and what they cost that day.

Who this suits, and why: families with older children and teenagers who like choosing their own day rather than following a set itinerary; friends groups splitting off to different attractions and meeting up later; and anyone doing more than one or two Sentosa attractions in a visit, since the pass is built to spread tokens across several stops rather than one.

  2. Use tokens at whichever of the 80+ participating attractions, shops or eateries you choose; each one has its own token cost. Top up at a ticketing counter or a participating attraction if you run out.

  3. Come back the next day on the same pass if you have tokens left; nothing carries over after the two-day window closes.
