The story

EasyKart runs two outdoor go-kart tracks in Pattaya: one beside Bali Hai Pier, near Walking Street, and one on Thepprasit Road. Each has a 350-metre beginner track for kids' karts, regular karts and two-seaters, and a longer racing circuit for its fast karts. Both open daily from 10 am until 1 am, with races starting every 10 minutes and the tracks lit for night racing. Every lap is recorded by a digital timing system, full-face helmets are provided, closed-toe shoes are compulsory, racing suits are free if you want one, and marshals can slow or stop any kart by remote control; every session starts with a safety briefing (easykart.net, checked 24 Sep 2026).

The operator sells two tickets, each with about an hour on the sheet. EasyKart's own site does not use the names Monza or Formula 2, so your captain confirms with the operator which branch, which kart and how many laps or minutes each ticket buys, and the age and height rule that goes with it.

What it feels like: loud, hot and competitive in the best way. You pull on the helmet, listen to the briefing, and within a minute you are braking too late into the first corner. The fun lasts well beyond the race, when the lap times come up and the arguments start over who drove best. At night, under the lights, it becomes a proper evening out, with the terrace for drinks and snacks between races.

Who this suits, and why: friends groups and bachelor parties who want a race among themselves; families with teenagers who meet the height rules; couples who like a bit of competition.

What happens

The plan as the operator runs it. Start times and pickup are confirmed for your date.

  1. Ticket only: make your own way to the EasyKart branch your captain confirms, at Bali Hai Pier or on Thepprasit Road.

  2. Check in, collect your helmet and attend the safety briefing, then race your session. The sheet allows about an hour in all.
