The Cruise
Board at Marina Walk in the evening on a traditional wooden dhow fitted out with two decks, and spend roughly ninety minutes going out through the Marina and back. The towers here are close on both sides and lit from the water level, which is a completely different scale from seeing them from a road, and the route passes Ain Dubai and the Bluewaters skyline before turning. Dinner is a buffet served midway through, with vegetarian and Jain options available on request when booking rather than on the night. The upper deck is open for the whole cruise and is where you should be, because the point of this is the view rather than the food.
