The story

Xclusive Yachts sells a Sunseeker Superyacht Experience under this name: a shared, three-hour cruise on its Sunseeker superyacht Encore, leaving Dubai Harbour from beside Bar Du Port. By the operator's own page, it is all-inclusive, with a buffet that has vegetarian options, unlimited premium drinks including alcohol, and a DJ; seating is open, so you are free to move around the whole yacht; and swimming is allowed on the daytime sailing. The operator sells two sailings, a sunset experience and a dinner experience, meeting at the harbour, with no transfer. The operator does not name the operator or the yacht, so your captain confirms both from the operator's voucher before you pay, with the sailing time.

What it feels like: you leave your shoes at the gangway, step aboard barefoot, and the evening starts on the open deck with a drink in your hand as the yacht slides out of the harbour. On the sunset sailing the light goes gold and then pink over the water, the towers along the coast catch it, and the music comes up as the sun goes down. On the dinner sailing the city is already lit and the food and the DJ carry the night. Either way it is a party with strangers on a beautiful boat, not a quiet private charter.

Who this suits: honeymooners and couples on an anniversary who want one glamorous evening; the luxury traveller; and bachelor and bachelorette groups or friends groups for whom the unlimited drinks and the DJ are the point. It is a poor fit for a family with young children, since babies are not allowed and the operator's page labels the cruise 21+, and for a teetotal party the drinks make up much of the price.
