The story

Ferrari World is on Yas Island in Abu Dhabi, not in Dubai: the park puts the drive from Dubai at about 50 minutes. It is a fully air-conditioned indoor theme park, linked to Yas Mall, with rides and shows built around Ferrari, from roller coasters such as Flying Aces and Turbo Track (Formula Rossa was closed for maintenance on 23 Sep 2026) to rides for younger children such as Formula Rossa Junior and Speedway Race, which take children from 90 cm. The operator sells a one-day pass three ways: ticket only, with a shared transfer from your Dubai hotel, or with a private transfer. It also sells the Yas parks' own multi-park passes (two, three or all four of Ferrari World, Warner Bros. World, SeaWorld Yas Island and Yas Waterworld), a one-day ticket for Yas Waterworld plus one other park, and two add-ons for a day pass: a skip-the-line pass and a meal voucher.

What it feels like: an early start and a long drive south on the motorway, then the red roof of the park and the cold air inside after the heat of the car park. Everything is loud: coasters rattling overhead, the Turbo Track coaster running up through the red roof, queues of teenagers comparing which ride to do next. The big coasters launch hard and fast, and the ones who have been watching ride videos for weeks finally find out what it feels like. Younger children have their own rides, several of them from 90 or 105 cm, and there is space to sit in the cool while others queue. You come back to Dubai late and tired; if the family wants two parks, a night on Yas Island or in Abu Dhabi makes it easier.

Who this suits: the family with teenagers above all, since this is the park the teenager asks for; the school-holiday family, who can pair it with a second Yas park on a multi-park pass; and friends groups who come for the coasters. Grandparents can come for the day in the air-conditioning, with wheelchairs for rent, but most of the park is rides; they may enjoy SeaWorld or Warner Bros. World more on a multi-park pass.
