Know before you go

• The operator does not name the operator or the launch point, or say whether an instructor is in the water with you. Your captain gets them from the operator with the voucher, before you pay.
• You need to be comfortable in the sea. Ask your captain for the operator's swimming rule, minimum age and what kit is provided (life jacket, mask, wetsuit).
• If the operator lets you take the Seabob under the surface, you will feel the pressure in your ears; anyone with ear trouble or a heavy cold should ask before booking.
• Anyone pregnant, or with a heart, back or ear condition, should ask your captain to check the operator's own rules before booking.
• Wear swimwear, bring a towel and a change, and leave phones and valuables ashore.
• Sessions depend on the wind and the sea; the operator can shorten or call off a session in rough water. Your captain tells you what the operator offers if that happens.
