What happens

1. Step 01 Pickup

   A private vehicle collects your group from your Dubai hotel. The one operator page we checked flies at sunrise, so expect a pickup well before dawn; the exact time is on the operator's voucher.

2. Step 02 The flight

   Safety briefing from the pilot, then the flight in a basket for your group only. The flight length and the take-off site are on the operator's voucher.

3. Step 03 Back to the hotel

   The private vehicle returns you to your hotel. The operator gives about 3 hours in all.

Know before you go

• Price basis: the operator gives one rate and does not say whether it covers the whole basket or each guest, or how many guests the basket takes. The page shows it per person until the operator confirms; your captain confirms both in writing before you pay.
• The operator does not name the balloon operator, the take-off site, the flight length or what is served. Your captain reads the operator's voucher to you before you pay.
• A balloon flies only when the weather allows. Ask your captain, before you pay, what happens to your booking if the pilot calls the flight off on the morning.
• Season: Dubai balloon flights run in the cooler months; one operator we checked lists daily flights from 1 October to 31 May (uae.heroballoonflights.com, checked 23 Sep 2026). Your captain confirms the dates for the operator's operator.
• Minimum age, pregnancy and health rules are set by the operator and are not on the operator's list. Tell your captain about young children, pregnancy, back or heart conditions, or a fear of heights before booking.
• You climb into the basket and stand for the flight. It is not suitable for anyone who cannot stand unaided for the whole flight.
• Dress in layers: desert mornings before sunrise can be cool in winter, and it warms quickly once the sun is up.
• Availability is confirmed by the operator only when your captain books. The operator can decline a booking if the price has changed or the date is sold out, and you are told before you pay.
• GST and TCS on international bookings are shown in your written quote.
